Portugal’s been pretty spaced out ever since Panda Bear moved there. Maybe that’s not a fair judgment. Maybe the Portuguese have been tripped out for a while, and we just didn’t know about it here in the States. I just keep hearing more and more goodness from that neck of the woods.

Enter these wild Lisbon artists who’s colorful waves of sound are dripping in sweet orange nectar. They’ve got a 12” EP coming out on Golf Channel Recordings in September, and they’re making their first big trip to the United States that month. “We are going to play two shows in New York; one on September 10th in Chinatown, at a No Ordinary Monkey party organized by Golf Channel’s mentor Phil South; and then on September 11th at The Beach Concerts in Governors Island, invited by Panda Bear – also on the bill are Teengirl Fantasy and Avey Tare DJing,” writes band member Nelson Gomes.

Consider me stoked.
