Why I Scream: Press Kit Photos

This is an absolutely amazing post.  Just one small snip:

“There are a lot of things in the music “scene” or “business” that piss me off. (I put those things in quotes, because: a) there is no legitimate scene, just a bunch of self-important idiots running around in stupid outfits, making each other and themselves feel interesting; and b) there is a business in music, but not much of it, and it pretty much flows in one direction. For many of us, calling it a music business is nothing short of delusional.) In the top tier of things that annoy me about whatever this realm is which we’re all a part of (even if your role is simply reader/consumer, you’re a part of it - a big part) is the press kit photo thing.”
