Mesita - The Coyotes
Like the blanket of snow depicted here on the mountainous album art from his home state Colorado, James Cooley’s music has the soft comfort of looking out the misty window of warm winter cabin. In my imagination, he’s trapped inside with four-foot drifts blocking the door, echoing the acoustics of a dampened dry crystalline snow of the Rocky Mountain west.
