Help send the blind musician Sorie Kondi from Sierra Leone to SXSW this year …
“Kondi’s busking on the streets of Freetown has made him familiar to many residents of Sierra Leone’s capital, but he currently lives in a one room shack in the notorious Destruction Bay slum. In 2010, his daily struggle for survival, the reality of poverty, and the struggle to raise school fees for his children was chronicled in a short BBC documentary.” CLS
Kondi has recently been invited to this year’s SXSW in Austin, Texas, and backers of this Kickstarter project are trying to help pay his way, by raising $4000 to help his flights, visa and more.
