True Gold - Undulate
Remember in the early 90’s when people called all varieties of music coming out of Seattle ‘grunge’? I’ve been uncovering a lot of interesting rock happening in Philly these days, and I really like what this band’s doing here. These guys are a lot more on the Soundgarden end of the ‘grunge’ spectrum - rockier, heavy-yet-clean guitar, building tension - than the Nirvana end, but I’m loving the revivalist feel!
