White Poppy - Wish and Wonder

I first met the super talented Crystal Dorval when she playing bass on tour for Mac DeMarco’s previous band Makeout Videotape. I’ve been following her work ever since she sent me demos under the initial moniker of My Friend Wallis - even included one of her early tunes in a mixtape. I absolutely love her sanguine, spaced-out loopy dream-grunge.

She just dropped two videos today; this one dir. Pierce McGrarry, and the equally enthralling color test “Tree Forts” dir. Moduli TV. Get her beautiful album I Had a Dream EP from whence these come (ultra ltd Not Not Fun cassette release if you can still find one). Don’t miss a beat by following her on Tumblr, too.
