Just about everyone loves easy-livin’ pop tunes. Fact. The cheerful nature of this song counterbalances the theme behind this video by Séamus McGuire which “pokes fun/sheds light upon countercultural hegemonies and extols the true DIY spirit.” Honestly, that may be a bit of an overstatement for a joyful romp through pizza-loving, pizza-delivering, basement show-going, but I see the darkness to the humor.
