A while back, this Southampton band - Jacob Scott, Zealah Izabella Anstey, Graham Poole, Matthew Bishop - released a sleeper single “Something or Nothing” that resonated with people pretty deeply. Now they’re back with a heart-wrenching new track that will add to their growing mythos.
This is one side of the double A-side single b/w “Bodies” that will be released in September 2012 through Communion, but you can download it now free from their FB.
Watch the beautiful B&W video for the sond, directed by Danny Blackman and the band’s lead singer Jacob, who “used a 1980’s broadcast VHS video camera to shoot a trippy, psychedelic performance video. The whole thing was done using analogue equipment - the effect you see is not digital but instead we shot the whole thing through a glass crystal stuck to the camera lens,” below:
