Taken with the sultry Norwegian slowgaze soundtrack, I could have mistaken this video for a Wong Kar-wai piece. Absolutely beautiful work from director Mona Fastvold. You won’t be surprised to learn that Rebekka Von Markstein, Pål Espen Kapelrud, Lewi Chlopicki Bekkesletten, Liv Inger Engevik, and Even Aarebrot are influenced by “birds, Russian literature, Greek tragedies, black-and-white cinema, wine...”
