Brushfires happen a lot in Los Angeles. As do earthquakes and mudslides. But it’s the fires that make life on the left coast exciting. You can see them coming as they scorch the brittle bones of the dry grasses and old oaks on the golden hillsides with wild abandon - and may have lent a bit of spiritual inspiration to this group of musicians.
