Beach House - Walk in the Park

I’ve been raving about the Teen Dream DVD for a while now. I often sit friends down in my living room and make ‘em watch several, if not all of the vids to each song on the album.  

Up until now, the videos haven’t been online, but I’m so stoked to see Allen Cordell’s video for this song up. Its by far my favorite. I absolutely love the juxtaposition of the song to the violent imagery reminicent of 50’s zombie films all played up like an 80’s teen dream pic.  People have such a visceral reaction to this video - they either love it or absolutely hate it or don’t get it. There’s no in between.  And I think that, my friends, is what makes great art.
